Tile & Grout

Tile & grout cleaning that gets grout lines bright again.

A household mop doesn't clean grout — it just pushes dirty water around the lines. We pressure-wash with a rotating jet and extract immediately, so the mud from your grout ends up in our truck tank instead of drying back into the floor. Ceramic, porcelain, travertine, slate, and most natural stone welcome. Sealing offered after.

What do homeowners ask about Tile & Grout?

Will the grout actually go back to white?

Usually 80–90% brighter, not always back to factory white. Grout is porous — after years of absorbing soil, some stains are permanent. For a perfect reset, color-sealing after cleaning gives a uniform tone and locks the color in. We quote both options after inspection.

Can you clean natural stone like travertine or slate?

Yes, carefully. Natural stone is pH-sensitive — wrong cleaner etches the surface. We use neutral cleaners, lower pressure, and no acidic pre-treatments on stone. We test in a closet first. Honed finishes may need a separate re-honing after cleaning if they've lost their finish.

Do I need to seal the grout after cleaning?

Strongly recommended, especially on kitchen and bathroom floors. A penetrating sealer costs about half of what it costs to clean the grout, and it makes the next clean far faster — sealed grout resists the staining that required this call in the first place. Three-year life expectancy in residential use.

Is it safe for my kids and pets after cleaning?

Yes. Rinse water is clean and the cleaners are neutral once dry (about 30 minutes on tile, faster than carpet). Sealer needs 2 hours to cure dry and 24 hours before you get the floor wet again.

Homeowners who hired us for this

Truck-mount made a night-and-day difference vs. the rental machine I had been using. Carpet looked brighter, dried in 4 hours, and no soapy feel underfoot. Clear price up front. Booked them again for October.

Melissa R. Carpet Cleaning · Carlsbad

Inherited a house with a cat-urine problem. Other cleaners said surface clean only — these guys did UV inspection, found spots we didn't know about, replaced pad in the worst room. Smell is actually gone. A year later, still gone.

David K. Pet Odor Treatment · El Cajon

Had a hand-knotted Persian rug my grandmother gave us. Every other cleaner wanted to extract in place — they picked it up, did an in-plant wash, delivered it back in 5 days. Fringe looks new, colors look brighter. Careful work.
