Learn moreWhy do San Diego homeowners choose Carpet Pros SD?
San Diego carpets have specific issues. Coastal homes get sand and salt-humidity. Inland homes get pollen and fine dust ground into backing. East County brings dry grit; mountain homes track in pine pollen and wood ash. We know the county, the fibers, and the right chemistry for each job.

What do homeowners ask about carpet cleaning in San Diego?
A few of the things homeowners ask before they hire us. Don't see your question? Call us at (858) 925-5546.
All FAQsWhat areas in San Diego County do you service?
Every city in San Diego County: coastal (Encinitas, Carlsbad, La Jolla), North County Inland (San Marcos, Escondido, Poway), East County (El Cajon, La Mesa, Santee), South Bay (Chula Vista, National City), and the mountain communities. If you're in the county, we cover you.
How much does professional carpet cleaning cost?
Most three-bedroom homes run $149 to $289 for a full hot-water extraction. Pricing is by the room, not by the hour, so you know the number before we plug in. Pet treatment, stairs, and carpet protector are quoted up front as separate line items.
How long does carpet take to dry after cleaning?
4 to 6 hours for most rooms with AC and ceiling fans running. We deploy commercial air movers on high-traffic areas. Truck-mounted extraction pulls more water out of carpet than any rental machine, so our dry times are half of what a DIY machine leaves behind.
Do you handle pet odor and urine?
Yes, and properly. Surface cleaning only treats one layer, but urine contamination lives in carpet backing, the pad, and sometimes the subfloor. We use UV inspection to find every spot, enzyme pre-treatment, and sub-surface extraction. For severe cases the crews we send can replace the pad and seal the subfloor before re-cleaning.
Can I get same-day or emergency service?
Same-day scheduling is usually available if you call by 10 AM. Emergency water damage gets 2–4 hour response across most of the county. Fresh-spill triage is free on the phone, so call before you start scrubbing.
