Why homeowners pick us

Why do San Diego homeowners choose Carpet Pros SD?

San Diego carpets have specific issues. Coastal homes get sand and salt-humidity. Inland homes get pollen and fine dust ground into backing. East County brings dry grit; mountain homes track in pine pollen and wood ash. We know the county, the fibers, and the right chemistry for each job.

  • A real technician on the phone. No dispatcher in another time zone. You talk to someone who knows wool from olefin.
  • Flat pricing, no hourly games. Room-rate or square-foot pricing. You hear the number before we plug in.
  • Truck-mounted hot-water extraction. 230°F water, commercial vacuum. The equipment carpet manufacturers actually require.
  • Same-day emergency water response. Burst pipe or flood? 2–4 hour dispatch across most of SD County.

Real feedback

What homeowners across the county say

Truck-mount made a night-and-day difference vs. the rental machine I had been using. Carpet looked brighter, dried in 4 hours, and no soapy feel underfoot. Clear price up front. Booked them again for October.

Melissa R. Carpet Cleaning · Carlsbad

Inherited a house with a cat-urine problem. Other cleaners said surface clean only — these guys did UV inspection, found spots we didn't know about, replaced pad in the worst room. Smell is actually gone. A year later, still gone.

David K. Pet Odor Treatment · El Cajon

Had a hand-knotted Persian rug my grandmother gave us. Every other cleaner wanted to extract in place — they picked it up, did an in-plant wash, delivered it back in 5 days. Fringe looks new, colors look brighter. Careful work.

Priya S. Wool Rug Cleaning · Encinitas

Signed up for the twice-a-year plan. They show up on time, done in 90 minutes, carpet looks great every time. Had a spill emergency between visits and they walked me through triage on the phone — came out the next day for free.

Tom B. Annual Cleaning Plan · Poway

Dishwasher hose burst at 9 p.m. They dispatched someone within 90 minutes, extracted, set up air movers, came back daily to check moisture. Insurance covered most of it; the documentation they provided made the claim easy. Life-savers.

Angela M. Water Damage Extraction · Chula Vista

Had them do the whole living room — carpet, sectional, and a wool area rug. Each done with the right method. No watermarks on the couch, no shrinkage on the rug, carpet feels soft again. These guys know what they're doing.

All FAQs
What areas in San Diego County do you service?

Every city in San Diego County — coastal (Encinitas, Carlsbad, La Jolla), North County Inland (San Marcos, Escondido, Poway), East County (El Cajon, La Mesa, Santee), South Bay (Chula Vista, National City), and the mountain communities. If you're in the county, we cover you.

How much does professional carpet cleaning cost?

Most three-bedroom homes run $149 to $289 for a full hot-water extraction. Pricing is by the room, not by the hour — you know the number before we plug in. Pet treatment, stairs, and carpet protector are quoted up front as separate line items.

How long does carpet take to dry after cleaning?

4 to 6 hours for most rooms with AC and ceiling fans running. We deploy commercial air movers on high-traffic areas. Truck-mounted extraction pulls more water out of carpet than any rental machine, so our dry times are half of what a DIY machine leaves behind.

Do you handle pet odor and urine?

Yes, and properly. Surface cleaning only treats one layer — urine contamination lives in carpet backing, the pad, and sometimes the subfloor. We use UV inspection to find every spot, enzyme pre-treatment, and sub-surface extraction. For severe cases we can replace the pad and seal the subfloor before re-cleaning.

Can I get same-day or emergency service?

Same-day scheduling is usually available if you call by 10 AM. Emergency water damage gets 2–4 hour response across most of the county. Fresh-spill triage is free on the phone — call before you start scrubbing.
