Yes. Hand-knotted Persian, Oriental, Turkish, and similar high-value rugs go to our in-plant facility for full immersion cleaning, controlled-environment drying, and hand-finishing. We pick up and deliver on a scheduled appointment, document the condition of the rug in writing before transport, and insure the piece in transit. Turnaround is typically 7-14 days depending on rug size, fiber, and any repair or color restoration needed. On-site cleaning is the wrong approach for these pieces and we will not do it - we tell clients that honestly.

For most La Jolla single-family homes, twice a year is the working standard - once in spring after the heavy winter marine-layer season, once in fall before the holiday-entertaining window. Silk is the most delicate textile we clean - it requires hand-cleaning by technicians who specialize in the fiber, controlled-temperature water, specific chemistry, and slow controlled drying to prevent fiber damage, color migration, and dimensional change. We do not clean silk on-site under any circumstance, and we recommend not letting anyone else clean silk on-site either. The cleaning takes 14-21 days typical for a quality silk piece.

Yes. We clean upholstery on custom furniture, designer pieces, and antiques as a regular part of our La Jolla work. Standard scope is fabric-type identification, dye-stability test in a hidden area, pre-treatment, hot-water extraction or low-moisture cleaning depending on fiber, and dry-time management. We carry chemistry for natural fibers (cotton, linen, wool), synthetic fibers, and specialty (silk, viscose). Leather conditioning is a separate service available for the leather pieces in many La Jolla homes.

Yes, and this is standard for many of our La Jolla clients. We coordinate access with house managers, regular cleaning crews, and security companies as part of the scheduling process. We can work entirely on a managed visit (you do not need to be present), provide written before-and-after documentation, and bill directly to your house manager or designated billing contact.
